Can Dogs Eat Cheese Puffs (Snack)?
Cheese puffs are not acutely poisonous but are loaded with sodium, artificial cheese flavoring, and inflammatory oils that can trigger pancreatitis or gastrointestinal distress in dogs. The powdered cheese often contains onion or garlic derivatives, which are toxic to red blood cells. A single puff as an accident may cause only mild tummy upset, but regular or large amounts can lead to obesity, salt poisoning, and chronic inflammation. These highly processed snacks offer zero nutritional value and should not be part of a dog's diet.
